释义	shān huǒ zhǐ fèi 扇火止沸扇火：摇动扇子生风吹火。沸：沸腾。用扇风吹火的办法制止水沸腾。比喻消除祸患的方法不对，结果反而加重了祸患。 ❍ 《三国志·魏书·陶谦传》南朝宋·裴松之注引《吴书》：“今海内扰攘，州郡起兵，征夫劳瘁，寇难未弭，或将吏不良，因缘讨捕，侵侮黎民，离害者众；风声流闻，震荡城邑，丘墙惧于横暴，贞良化为群恶，此何异乎抱薪救焚，扇火止沸哉！”
