蹊田夺牛
蹊：践踏。
❍ 《左传·宣公十一年》：“抑人亦有言曰：‘牵牛以蹊人之田，而夺之牛。’牵牛以蹊者，信有罪矣，而夺之牛，罚已重矣。”
❍ 因牛踩了田地，而把人家的牛夺走了。后用“蹊田夺牛”指惩罚或报复过重，超出常理。
❍ 宋·欧阳修《论包拯除三司使上书》：“而祁亦因此而罢，而拯遂代其任，此所谓蹊田夺牛，岂得无过？”
❍ 明·冯梦龙、清·蔡元放《东周列国志》五三回：“庄王曰：‘申公若在，又将以蹊田夺牛见诮矣！’即麾军退三十里。”
