释义	wǔ hūn sān yàn 五荤三厌五荤：即五辛，佛教指大蒜、韭菜、薤、葱、兴渠(根像萝卜，气味像蒜)五种有气味的蔬菜。三厌：道教指三种不忍食的动物，即雁、狗、乌鱼。泛指宗教徒忌食的东西。 ❍ 明·吴承恩《西游记》一九回：“我受了菩萨戒行，断了五荤三厌，在我丈人家持斋把素，更不曾动荤。” ❍ 清·陈忱《水浒后传》二四回：“那头陀五荤三厌没有一样忌的，共涛尽情供养，已成了莫逆相知。”
